1. Alhambra

The Alhambra is one of a major attraction in Spain. It is located in the Province of Granada Andalucia. It is actually a palace and a fortress complex constructed by the Nasrid sultans in the 14th century. It is one of the best architectural sights in the whole Europe. Making it the top tourist attraction in Spain. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2. Mezquita Cordoba

Classified by UNESCO Heritage Site, The Mezquita "Mosque" of Cordoba is a beautiful and stunning catholic cathedral building that symbolizes the many religious changes in Cordoba for over the centuries. The building is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and located in Andalusia. Originally a catholic christian church, but when Muslims conquered Spain in 711, the church was divided into Muslim and  Christian halves.

3. Merida Roman Theatre

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Merida Roman Theatre is located in the Roman city of 

Emerita Augusta, capital of Lusitania. The construction of this theatre is promoted by the consul Vipsanius Agrippa.

4. El Escorial

El Escorial is a historical residence of the King of Spain. It is the ultimate symbol of Spain's former royal glory. Listed in UNESCO Heritage Site, it is located in the town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. It was designed by architect Juan Bautista de Toledo in 1559 by the order of King Philip II. It become the center of Christian Wolrd in Spain. 

5. Belchite

Belchite is a municipality and a village in the province of Zaragoza, Spain. The Spanish Civil War is one of the tragic period in Spain's history. This makes the Ruins of Belchite. After the war in 1939, a new village of Belchite was built adjacent to the ruins of the old, which remain a ghost town for the memory of the war.

6. La Sagrada Familia

The La Sagrada Familia is a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, and one of the most visited attraction in Spain. It is classified by UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the masterpiece of architect Antoni Gaudi. Because Gaudi died before it was completed, the La Sagrada Familia is still work in progress.

7. Royal Palace of Madrid

Royal Palace of Madrid is the official residence of the King os Spain, but it is only used for state ceremonies. The Royale Palace was built between 1738 to 1755. It was owned by the Spanish State and administered by the Patrimonio Nacional, a public agency of the Ministry of the Presidency. 

8. Alcazar of Segovia

The Alcazar of Segovia is a castle located in the old city of Segovia, Spain. It is one of the best preserved monument left by the Romans in Spain. With its magical shape and top location, definitely it deserved to be one of the most-visited site of the country.

9. Palma Cathedral

It is the most stunning Gothic Roman Catholic building in the islands capital of Palma, Majorca. It is sometimes referred to as La Seu. The construction begun by King James I of Aragon in 1229 but finished only in 1601.


10. Monasterio de Piedra

Monasterio de Piedra is a monastery, hotel and park in Iberian System mountain range. It was founded by Alfonso II of Aragon and was dedicated to Saint Mary the White. It has been declared a national monument and wins awards as one of the most scenic visitor attractions of Spain.
