1. MUSEUM of the NANYUE KING MAUSOLEUM

It is the largest and earliest excavated painted stone chamber tomb with the greatest variety of funerary objects in Lingnan. The Museum now houses the King's burial suit made of thousands of jade tiles, a gold seal inscribed with "Wen Emperor's Imperial Seal" and the horn-shaped jade cup, which are of great historic, academic and artistic value.

2. ZHENHAI TOWER

Zhenhai Tower is also known as "Five-Storied Tower", is one of the historic and cultural landmarks of Guangzhou, and is regarded as the No. 1 sight in Lingnan.

3. SUN YAT-SEN MEMORIAL HALL

Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, one of Guangzhou's landmarks, incorporates the fine traditions of Chinese architectural art with modern western architectural techniques. It stands for a distinctive chapter in China's modern history of architecture.

4. YUEXIU PARK

Yuexiu Park is famous for its Stone Statue of the Five Rams. As legend goes, five deities descended from the celestial realm riding five rams. They gave the people in Guangzhou the ears of rice that the rams carried in their mouth and blessed them with a bumper harvest. Upon their departure, the rams turned into stones. The Five Rams Statue was based on that legend and became the emblem of Guangzhou.

5. MEMORIAL MUSEUM of the GENERALISSIMO SUN YAT-SEN's MANSION

The Memorial Museum of the Generalissimo Sun Yat-sen's Mansion is where Dr. Sun Yat-sen led the democratic revolution of China. It witnessed the first national congress of the Kuomintang (KMT), the first cooperation between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and KMT as well as the establishment of the Huangpu Military Academy. It's an important revolutionary site of China's modern history. The building, blending the architectural elements of the colonial period with local architectural techniques, is a masterpiece in the history of architecture.

6. MEMORIAL OF THE HUANGPU MILITARY ACADEMY

Memorial of the Huangpu Military Academy is located in Changzhou Island. The original Huangpu Military Academy, founded by Sun Yat-sen, witnessed the first cooperation between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and KMT. It had become one of the most famous military academies in the world for it cultivated an officer corps for the new Chinese Republic.

7. CHEN CLAN ACADEMY

Chen Clan Academy is known for its superb decorations because it epitomizes the folk decoration art in Guangdong. It is famous for its exquisite stone carving, brick carving, pottery sculpture and iron casting. It has become one of the Eight Major Attractions of Guangzhou in the New Century.

8. HUANGPU ANCIENT PORT

Huangpu Ancient Port started to play an important role in China's foreign trade during Song Dynasty. And in Ming and Qing Dynasty, it became world famous for being the only approved port open to foreign tradein China.
