The bread, or 'Roti' in Malaysia is somewhat influenced by the cultural backgrounds of the various ethnic groups of the country. The bread or Roti is eaten plain or mixed with delicious fruits and vegetables, make it be toasted, steamed fried or grilled.
1. NAAN
Originally from northern India, Naan comes in various flavours and toppings such as garlic, cheese, butter, raisins, nuts, vegetables and even meat. This hot bread is served with fragrant mint sauce, dhal or lentil gravy and sometimes alongside tandoori chicken, a flavoursome baked chicken dish marinated in herbs, spices and yoghurt.
